Barbara Alexander is an authority and pioneer in virtual selling, telesales and leading remote teams. With over 30 years of experience working with global Fortune 1000 brands, she is a revenue turnaround expert and helps organizations optimize sales across each touchpoint in the customer journey.
Barbara has a proven track record of helping small, mid-size and large sales organizations, corporate marketing groups and customer service teams increase sales performance metrics, improve marketing return on investment and achieve greater operational efficiencies. Her breadth of experience includes the creation, design and implementation of highly impactful business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales and lead generation programs that improve lead quality, increase revenue and boost ROI. A short list of the global brands she’s impacted include IBM, Compaq Computers, Pella Windows, Dow Jones/Wall Street Journal, Citibank and Microsoft.
Barbara received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Fordham University. She obtained her professional coaching certifications from the Institute for Professional Education in Coaching (iPEC) and in Corporate and Leadership Development from KickStart Your Edge, both accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). She is also certified in Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-360) and Energy Leadership.
Barbara also has a passion for volunteering her time to causes near and dear to her. She is the Co-Founder and Board Member of the James Volpe Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization named in honor of her late nephew. The organization is dedicated to helping youths in the local community reach their highest potential in education and sports.
Barbara currently resides in Freehold New Jersey with her twin teenage sons.
